Addressing my complaint that I worked hard to get my watch collection down (thought the Seiko Tuna would cure me but the "cure" only lasted a month), Jonny writes:

As nice as the Tuna appears to be, I figured it wouldn't be long before you wanted to buy another watch.

After every radio acquisition I tell myself (and the Mrs.) that this one will be the last one.
On average that lasts no more than a few months

It's like any other addiction---except by exercising a little financial self control and having boundaries, it's not nearly as harmful as many obsessions/addictions are.
