Playing like a 48mm bezel on the wrist, the Orient M-Force Beast is described as a 47mm watch but plays bigger because the black bezel frame blends with the dial, creating a beastly girth.
The lume dots are big and round and the lume should be well above average even though I haven't tested it yet.
Its bracelet is comprised of H links and while they are thin and a bit light, the overall bracelet is far superior in quality feel to the hollowish Orient M-Force SEL03001B0.
With 24mm wide lugs, a replacement bracelet would cost me about $125 if I went with a Super Engineer II, which would add a lot of weight to the watch.
Like my orange and black dial M-Forces, the Beast comes with a power reserve indicator, which I like. The overall look is both bold and conservative.
When I looked at it on my wrist while staring into the mirror, I was was surprised at how big the watch looks. My initial impressions are that it's a keeper.
In a couple of weeks, my eighth rotation watch (watches I rotate regularly) will arrive, the Seiko SBDL021. I think I can manage that many in my rotation, but not much more. It took me a lot of hard work to get the rotation down to what it is. We'll see how my watch rapacity plays out over the next several months.
I really like it. I might still get one of those, but at this point I'm not sure how it would fit in my rotation. Like you, I'm finding myself preferring a rotation of 8ish watches, with a few extras on the side.

That's a really good looking watch, Jeff. I like the Submariner-style markers and the unique look of the hands.
I also like that they moved the date window inboard of the 3 o'clock marker rather than replacing the marker, to retain the symmetry of the markers.

I like the watch. The black dial is what I would want in a watch.

In two of the photos----the lighting makes the stainless bracelet look like it's black. I like the way the watch looks in those photos! Are there any good black coated metal bracelets available?

Angelo, there's a black ion version of the Super Engineer II that Jeff likes. I'm not sure how it would look with the silver case, though.
I could see this watch looking great with a rubber strap as well.

Oops----was looking at the photos straight down and didn't consider that the case is stainless----I saw the wide black bezel and thought that would look good with a black band.
