Amazon used to sell this Panerai Luminor Titanium for close to 9K. I wonder how much Citizen had it in mind when they made the Grand Touring (below).

Actually, the Citizen reminds me even more of this vintage Orient King Diver, sometimes called the "baby Panerai":

It appears that Panerai like Rolex inspires a lot of designs.

I'd be pretty satisfied with your Grant Touring, though. I love Panerai but they are, in my opinion, one of the most over-priced watches on the market. For $8K I'd rather get an Omega Planet Ocean chronograph, or just spend it on a used Breitling and Seiko MM600.
Or just feed an African village for a month or two.

I was reading an article in ESPN magazine today about retiring Tight End Tony Gonzales. The article was actually great----of interest here is that quarterback Matt Ryan gave Tony a really nice retirement gift----a solid gold Rolex.
