To update my favorable first look of the CCRadio 2E, I'm getting such good FM reception on the DSP-enhanced FM that I only have to raise the telescopic FM antenna about one-fourth its maximum height. This evidences improved FM performance.

This is a good thing, because the top section of the whip antenna on the CCR-2E is extremely thin. It looks like it would be easy to damage.

Especially if you have 4 year old twins, which is why I'm glad the antenna can stay mostly retracted.
