With my girls apparently old enough to be trusted not to rip off the FM antenna, I felt it was time to replace the Sangean LB100 worksite radio (muffled sound and weak KCRW signal) with the CCRadio 2E.
It was hard to resist on Amazon Prime, which is featuring the radio, given high marks on Radio Jay Allen, which is on sale till May 21st. With my award points, the radio was a little over a hundred dollars. I'm looking forward to a bright, clear sound, top AM, and DSP-improved FM.
I will get my "first look" at it on Wednesday, the day after my family gets back from Palm Springs.

Jeff, good luck with the radio. I've been tempted on this one too, although the last thing I need is another radio. I'm sure you'll let us know your thoughts after you have a chance to use it.

I'm anxious to hear what you think of it. These radios being released today will never have the quality/style/heart of 70s era Panasonics (or Sonys) but C Crane gets points for keeping it all alive.

This would be a great radio for out-of-town trips (camping, vacation stays). I'm not ready for buying anything yet, but it will be good to hear what your impressions are.
