Assessing my watch obsession in all its totality, I finally decided to cure my disease by pulling the trigger on a Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive BN2029-01E. I'm confident that this powerful watch, boasting a deep dish 53mm case, will cure me of my addiction. Thank God the Watch Industry is run by humanitarians who build watches like this: what are called Addiction Enders, watches so compelling that even the most acute watch addict can be cure. Finally, the crying is over.

This is either tongue in cheek, or you my friend, need an intervention in the worst way.

Did you find out what the difference was between the two similar Promasters?
Posted by: Angelo | June 24, 2014 at 08:45 AM
I think he's kidding. I looked around and couldn't find the difference between the two. On the Japanese website they don't have the 2029, only the 2024 and a couple other colour variations that have slightly different numbers. Five year warranty on this thing, pretty impressive. Certain vendors will try to fob you off with just one year, so be careful where you buy this from.

Playing possum to fool his wife. Meanwhile....
Cars, radios and shavers, oh my... Oooh! Shiny!

Wanting shiny stuff reminds me that the Internet, I believe, started as a place for academic purposes but sadly, and I'm guilty of this, the Internet became a place to pump up consumer desire. Reflecting on this, part of me wants to kill this Beast called Herculodge.

You sold me my first Invicta, brother!

Not to be too cheeky, but can this watch tell regular time? The watch face is kind of confusing!

Regular time? Phaw! I scoff at that!
I'm glad you're finally cured, Jeff. Now what?

Knowing me, I'll probably give all my watches away and become a therapist for people suffering from consumer addiction.

There's a woman selling on E-Bay now----her husband recently bought a Rolex and she is selling off some of his other watches. Sounds as though he was a collector of sub-luxury watches----bought the Rolex and is now having the others sold off.
