For those of us who are six feet, 230-pounds, like I am, let us be warned that an Amazon reviewer today fretted that the Seiko SKZ285 Starfish plays small, like a 43mm watch, in spite of its described 47mm bezel. This Amazon reviewer said he may not even have the links removed but have the watch sold as a "catch and release."
The reviewer said he might replace the Starfish with another black watch, the SRP477. Funny, I was thinking of doing the same thing.

It's fascinating to me how true this is (design drives how a watch "looks" in size). It's so true---among my own watches in the collection----case thickness, bezel treatment, proportion of width of band vs. case diameter, color, face size, etc.----drives how big a watch "looks." And yes, two 47 MM watches can look dramatically different in "size" depending on how they're designed. Put a ruler on them and they are the same. Put them on your wrist at a viewing distance and one looks bigger than the other.
