I'm ashamed to share this but I see the humor of it, so I decided to make this confessional. I was regretting selling a watch (I refuse to mention the watch model) and I looked for the same watch on eBay. I found one for a good price and kept an eye on it, making myself a "watcher." I forgot about it for a while as I was posting photos of my daughters on Facebook and in the Facebook's page right-hand margin where ads are displayed, I saw the watch I was "watching" on eBay and I studied the photo carefully and realized the eBay seller was using my photo from the watch that I had sold and now wanted back and seeing my photo "following me" from an eBay seller who had stolen my photo (I've noticed about a half dozen sellers using my watch photos over the last year), which in turn made me regret selling the aforementioned watch gave me this absurd feeling like I was slogging through a crazy dream: "Hells bells, man, I'm just posting photos of my daughters on Facebook and trying to forget watches for a second and there it is: the watch some eBay dude is selling and the photo is my watch photo! Shit!"
Sorry, for the boring post, but I had to get that off my chest.
Final thoughts: So far I have not re-purchased the watch as I believe the seller wants too much for it.
To be continued? I hope not.

Maybe you can fill us in on the watch model in due course.
Is he selling it for more than you sold it?

Give him time, Gary, give him time. (I just hope it isn't the Sumo).
Love this post, Jeff. It reminds me of "Being John Malkovich" when he goes into his own head.

I love that movie. Perfect allusion. Screw it, I'll tell you the watch: Invicta 4831 Force Master silver dial. I'm already cooling off it, thank God.

Haha, so we've come full circle. And so what? If you want the watch, buy the watch. Although any feeding of the cycle just perpetuates it.
Remember the term: anxiety eco-system. It should have the term "self-generated" in front of it.

I don't know if I want to feed the Invicta wolf. But I'm not sure I want to feed the luxury watch wolf either. Need to starve the wolves.
