A half hour of features and a half hour of comparing manuals, and no review of reception because of "weather"? Are you not most likely to need a radio when the weather is poor? And any radio you compare it to will also be in the same weather..

I too was disappointed to find 30 minutes go along and no talk of reception.

My two cents.....he refers to the radio as 'only' costing $125. In this day and age, with the economy as it is, I would say $125 for a portable radio is a fairly large investment for most people. But if he thinks $125 is cheap, good for him. Secondly.....he says he'll try to keep his hand out of the way....that lasted about 5 seconds....LOL. Otherwise, I like the radio features. Let's all hope the quality control is there. Another 'wait & see' from Eton.

Anyone going to be surprised if the Eton 550 actually performs any better than the Radio Shack 20-629 floating around the net for around $35 shipped these days? Just saying....

My Radio Shack 20-629/DX-402/ATS-505 is performing just peachy.
