I'm feeling the Hamilton Khaki Field watches with 46mm bezels.

ABlogToWatch gave away the smaller version of this watch in one of their recent monthly giveaways.

According to the link you posted, the watch pictured above is 38mm. The one ABTW gave away was 42mm.

I would have to get the 46mm version.

Wow---that watch in the photo looks considerably larger than 38MM. If that's a 38MM watch, it plays bigger than any other watch I've seen under 42MM.

Angelo,
The poster of the picture said, "My wrists are 6" (15.25cm) and I think the 38mm Hamilton is a perfect size. It wears big for its size, so you might find it a little large."
I think it's the small wrist size that makes the watch look bigger.

I came across a good looking, inexpensive Citizen Eco-Drive aviator watch on Amazon (model AW1361-10H). This one has a 45mm diameter. The only flaw I see from reading the reviews is that only the hands are lumed, not the markers. (On the three Eco-Drives I currently own, the markers are lumed.)

Amazon actually had it on sale for under $96 for a couple of days recently, then it went back up to $138.75.
In addition to the brown version, there is a black version (model AW1361-01E).
These aren't as nice as the Hamilton Khaki pilot watches, but they look good for the money.

My favorite Hamilton is this one:

The black dial version. I'm a sucker for "duo chronos" and hope to get one at some point.

I worked at an advertising specialty agency for 12 years (promotional products, awards, recognition gifts, etc.). Hamilton was one of our suppliers. Really nice clocks (beautiful carved/stained wooden cabinets----nice finishes on those clocks and on the watches too). I always thought some employee getting a top end Hamilton watch for a work anniversary was a lucky person. Bel Air (Swiss or USA made from Swiss components) has a similar program. I have a couple Bel Air watches that I like a lot. They are very accurate and wear extremely well---comfortable too, even the heavier ones.
