Russian Theft Scam Hits Benarus Watches Twice

It's painful to watch Steve Laughlin of Benarus explain in over 11 minute video of a theft scam that has hit him twice recently. I love Benarus watches and it's difficult to watch Steve, an honest watch developer whose passion brings great watches to people for affordable prices, struggle to get answers in this video.

Yes, it's a shame this happened to him. And now, until further notice, he's done shipping watches to Russia.

Unlike a big corporation, he sells watches in small numbers, so these losses are significant to him.

It's too bad shipping insurance doesn't cover this type of issue.
