If you go that route I wouldn't sell the Tuna. Isn't that untouchable?

But yeah, that Seiko is gorgeous. Plus its a Spring Drive, I believe.

My Ultimate Grail is, unfortunately, $8K at its cheapest - the blue dial Omega Planet Ocean chronograph:

The SDBD009 has awfully plain hour markers for such an expensive watch. I think the hour markers on your Sumo, Tuna and Kinetic Tuna look much better, because they have a ring of gray or silver around them. On the Kinetic Tuna, they appear to be raised up as well. Those on the SDBD009 look flat and uninteresting.

Oops. I mean SBDB009.

Ah, the Omega: q=Omega+232.90.46.51.03.001&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=eANxVJq8CMfoigLZ8IDoBw&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAw&biw=1590&bih=842#facrc=_&imgdii=HYtOLsp7pMQ8GM%3A%3BeMz24O2J0CqyjM%3BHYtOLsp7pMQ8GM%3A&imgrc=HYtOLsp7pMQ8GM%253A%3BQiEB-MwlqWYnmM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fforums.watchuseek.com%252Fattachments%252Ff29%252F1413499d1394413879-fs-lnib-omega-planet-ocean-liquidmetal-titanium-232-90-46-51-03-001-now-%25247-100-4.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fforums.watchuseek.com%252Ff29%252Ffs-lnib-omega-planet-ocean-liquidmetal-titanium-232-90-46-51-03-001-now-%25247-100-a-996530.html%3B816%3B612

Here are some Omega photos. Very nice: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fs-lnib-omega-planet-ocean-liquidmetal-titanium-232-90-46-51-03-001-now-$7-100-a-996530.html

That's the very one, Jeff. I've seen those exact photos and drooled over them a few times. It is just a piece of art. I love the "liquidmetal" look, the open case, the whole thing. The one downside is that it is a bit big for my taste - 46mm across the bezel. But given that it is titanium, it should be light enough not to feel too bulky.

Maybe someday. Omega is definitely my favorite brand overall. My next watch from them will probably be the classic "Bond" Seamaster or the chrono version. I've also grown to like the "Man on the Moon" watch.
