Wanting daily comfort on my Seiko SUN019 Kinetic Tuna Diver, I've been thinking about taking off the bracelet and putting on a soft silicon 24mm strap.
From a British seller on eBay, the Hirsch Extreme 24mm watch band, costs about $99. It's been recommended on watchuseek, but is it worth it? I've seen silicon bands for about $20 and I don't know if there's a significant difference.
In the middle of those two prices is the DaLuca for $70 on Amazon.
You know, I think my Helson Shark came with one of those. I never wore it preferring the bracelet, but it was comfortable and kind of interesting - those "bumps" are more like ridges.

I wouldn't personally pay solid-steel prices for some cheap pieces of silicone, but at the end of the day if it's what you really want you'll pay for it regardless. It has an interesting style compared to most silicone straps.

As Ulysses alluded to, it's silicone, not silicon.
Also, the Hirsch strap claims to be natural rubber, so it's not really silicone, which is a rubber-like material.

Thanks, Gary. That's not the first time I've made that silicone mistake.

it's an incredible rubber strap-easily the best i've owned-and that includes isofrane, etc. i'm sure it's the best and most comfortable especially on the heavier brands like Helson- this has a thicker profile than the Cuda or isofrane and looks better with the thick case of the shark diver,
