"Dude, you can barely breathe." Pretty much how I felt as I indulged in extragavant meal after meal after meal. I wondered if I was going to die before getting back home and starting my program. Anyway, I'm pretty stout these days and would like to lose 20 over the next few months and keep it off. There's the killer. Losing is easy. Maintaining is nearly impossible.

See, I find that losing is hard. Or at least getting started is hard. If I just exercise regularly, even just a 40-minute walk or yoga each day, and am mildly conscious of my diet, then I'll lose weight. But for me the hard part is just committing to that sort of regularity.
What watch are you wearing there?

Jeff: Big arms and shoulders compensate for gaining a few over the holidays. I'm being pretty careful----I have more of a boxer's build than a body builder's build---long arms, thin----so if I gain weight, my physique doesn't hide it as well as yours would. I've been pretty good this season, all things considered.
