Absent a kinetic watch shaking machine, I may have to hire a watch sitter to shake and perhaps wear my kinetic watches when I go on vacation. Also, this watch sitter can stand guard of my watches while I'm gone. I see another chapter unfolding in the novel of a watch obsessive. There will be another chapter of course about the same obsessive buying and selling a Seiko Sumo 4 times in a period of something like 15 months.

Maybe you should get a fanny-pack and keep your kinetics in that. I imagine some 80s vintage stores have some fanny-packs in stock.

They sell fanny packs at sporting good stores. The watches would need to be swathed in infant blankets.

I thought the new Kinetics have many months of power reserve.
Are you selling the 4th Sumo already?

Do you best to make sure the fanny pack looks masculine. Camouflage might be a good choice.

Like "Rosebud" strange things might happen on your deathbed. I can see your wife, two daughters and some grandchildren surrounding you and as you slip in and out of consciousness, you murmur "orange monster, Sumo" and they all just look at each other.

No, I'm not selling my Sumo. That would happen only if I bought a Seiko SBDB001, which is unlikely at this time.
The Rosebud reference is not far off at all.
I hope I don't have to resort to an electric toothbrush to keep two kinetics charged.

That's funny, Angelo (re: Rosebud). Fanny packs are bad enough but camouflage? Ouch.
Jeff, I'm pre-emptively worrying about potential Kinetic Drama. You could also wrap it tightly in bubble wrap and put it in whatever carrying device you use for work.
On the other hand, I've heard that kinetics need a certain kind of swinging movement to charge. Evidently normal watch winder don't work for them.

This could be the beginning of the end of my sanity or rather the beginning of a nervous breakdown: taking on the drama of keeping two kinetics fully charged. I can see myself doing my errands with the watches on both wrists. It might be worth it to pay 300 for the official kinetic charger: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ALUZB6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2ZHBHTI3RIMWF&coliid=IMYRX36A2NOAD

That's quite an investment, Jeff, although worth it if you plan on getting more kinetics. I'd only get it, though, if you A) absolutely love both your kinetics, and B) could see yourself getting more in the future.
The good thing is that you'd never have to worry about it again.

I do love these kinetics and I hope not to get a third but imagine a year from now if Seiko makes an all black one. That would be a third and then I'd have to buy the machine.
