I know about the 47mm Seiko Black Monster SRP637 to be hopefully released in US market or at least sold on eBay in the next few months. This has the same movement as the Sumo, the 6R15. However, I didn't know about the 43mm version, the SBDC025 with the same movement. It sells on Amazon, eBay and elsewhere. Not a temptation for me. I'm waiting for the SRP637.
The only reason I think the SRP637 is a good idea for you, given its similarity to watches you own or have owned, is the size: It seems that the 47.5mm is the "missing link" in your love of the Black Monster. Maybe someone at Seiko has been reading your blog. But I predict that you'll absolutely love it, and that it may even inspire you to sell your Tuna and 2nd gen Black Monster.

We shall see. I'm always looking for an excuse to trim my collection, but my guess is I'll keep the Tuna.

I think I've come to a place where I'm OK with a dozen watches in my collection. Maybe someday I'll go down to four or five, but I like combining diversity with modest size, and 10-12 works fine. For now.

I'm not a big fan of the Shrouded Monster. It looks like a regular Monster with a shroud around the case. Nothing special in my view. I think the Sumo and SUN019 are both much more stylish than the Shrouded Monster.
