Paul mentioned his 2015 goals, which made me think of mine. Here are some:
1. Lose 30 pounds.
2. Learn not to overreact to my daughters' temper tantrums with my own tantrums.
3. See two movies: Nebraska and Birdman
4. Don't make any compulsive watch purchases.
5. Get to the half-way point of an autobiographical novel.
6. Cut back sugar and starch by 90%.
7. No coffee in the PM hours. Stick to green tea.
8. Learn to cut back on my meal portions.
9. Practice writing one-line observations and jokes on Twitter.
10. Cut back on Facebook to 2 minutes a week (because 10 minutes feels like too many)

Nebraska was good.
Good luck with that list. I like how you mixed in some relatively easy ones with the rest so that you can have some sense of accomplishment alongside the otherwise disappointing failure with nearly impossible resolutions.
