Since picking up my silver and black Citizen Promaster Sky models, I just don't have time for a lot of my other watches, so my Benarus Megalodon and Benarus Moray Dart 44mm are now on the eBay auction block.

The whims of caprice, Gary.

Or perhaps I should have said: Caprice is a cruel mistress.
(Has that been said before?)

The superior refinement of my Promaster Sky models has made me rethink some of my other watches.

That's what happens, Jeff. Beware going further, lest you face further rethinking.

You mean rethinking more selling or buying even more refined watches? In any event, I'm happy with the jewel-like refinement of the Citizen Promaster Sky. I doubt I'll get a 45.5mm Omega any time soon.

Both. My point is that the "next step up" always makes one rethink "the steps behind."
It may be, though, that using my tier system, having a strong stylistic affinity for a particular watch gives it a "+1 tier modification." So for instance, even though your Citizens are what I would call "Tier 3" watches, because you love the style so much they feel like "Tier 4." Meaning, you'd have to really buy something extraordinary, like a Panerai (Tier 5) to make you re-think the Citizens.
The other thing is time. I hate to say it, but some watches just loose their sparkle over time.

In that last sentence I'm referring to the Benari, by the way.

Here's an ABTW review that was published today of the Benarus Moray 40mm.

Gary: Funny how a 40MM case size used to be quite large---and now it's considered small enough to be a niche product for a men's watch. I like the size---then again, I like all sizes, depending on the look of the watch. One thing I love about this model---NO DATE! I find the date function to be a pain in the...and pretty much useless.
