You shouldn't feel ashamed of wearing a watch that looks as good as that Benarus. So what if it's big? Large size isn't the goal of this watch. Showing off isn't the purpose. There are no go-faster stripes, no gaudy gleaming jewels, no gold-plating or chrome-like polish, no idiotic design touches purely for freak-show attention-grabbing. If Invicta is Don King - all sound and fury, signifying nothing, Benarus is more Peyton Manning - big, reliable, and straight-laced.

My Gonzo watch is a Casio Pro-Trek PRW 3500 with a black body, orange strap, and orange accents. Does it look like something that a teenager would wear? Of course it does. Is it useful for me with ABC capabilities, solar charging, and atomic time synchronization each night. Indeed it does.
The thing I've noticed about watches is: in the real world, nobody cares whatever we wear. So wear what what a smile on your face. I would be very sad if all I owned was a bunch of somber and restrained watches. Wacky colors, different styles -- it's all good.

I agree people in real world don't care what we wear. I've decided to let my Seiko SRP655 be my Gonzo watch. The Benarus will be sold.
