Jerry Kramer's book about Vince Lombardi and the mid to late 1960's Green Bay Packers----had a related anecdote about one of the wide receivers on the team. I'd have to re-read the book to get the particulars. But the basics are that this guy's hands were so skilled----his hand-eye coordination so good---Kramer claims he could catch a fly between his thumb and index finger---not injure it----and release it to fly again---and catch flies at will like that.
