Amen! This is a timely video as I, too, am plunging into the Mediterranean Diet. I want to drop 20 lbs. Last year, I managed to drop 15 lbs, but between freaking Thanksgiving and Christmas, I gained almost all of it back. (!!!!)
This is motivational, Jeff. What you're saying, is what I hear in my head. Thanks for making it public.
I've also made a goal to walk 15,000 steps each week day. I use a fitness tracker to monitor steps and find that it's a cool little daily goal that is achievable. With the added activity (which I really enjoy) and the lower calorie intake (which I enjoy much less), I hope to fight off diabetes as long as I can. If family history is any indicator, I am predisposed to the disease.
Thanks again, Jeff & more power to you. "Keep the crack out of the office!" We could all use that motto on our tee shirt.
