Assign a short book that will give you four lessons.
At end of Week 3 you will have a 500-word in-class and a 1,000-word typed essay.
At end of Week 7 you will have a 500-word in-class and a 1,000-word typed essay from composition text.
At end of Week 11 you will have a 500-word in-class and a 1,000-word typed essay from composition text.
At end of Week 14 you will have a 500-word in-class essay.
At end of Week 15 you will have a annotated bibliography and outline due for a total of 1,000 words. Or make due at beginning of Week 16. Or eliminate.
During Week 16 you will have a 500-word in-class essay and Final 1,500-word essay due.
