Acting Out Culture Needs to be Taught 2 Chapters at a Time: New Grading Scheme

You need an in-class essay and research paper for every two chapters of Acting Out Culture. 

I recommend an in-class essay at the end of every third week and the research paper due at the end of the fourth week. 

At least your in-class essays will stagger with the 1C class. 

Chapters 3 and 4

Chapters 5 and 6

Chapters 1 and 2

Grading:

Four in-class essays 500 words (2,000), 75 points for 300 total

Three 1,200-word (4 pages) research papers (3,600 word total) with 3 sources for 100 points, 300 total

One 1,500-word (5-page final essay) with 5 sources for 150 points

Outline and annotated bibliography of 1,000 words for 75 points

8,100 words and 825 total points
